Creating motion from meaning
Our task was to create a series of films that elevated visibility and showcased the value of their advanced analytics tools across critical business functions including G&A, finance and supply chain. Each film stood independently, yet all were bound by a central logic – a shared interface. That interface became a stylised dashboard, acting as both anchor and arena. A space where each tool performed. Clean lines, open environments, kinetic transitions.
Each tool within the dashboard received its own visual code. Not icons, but systems. Geometry informed by purpose. Motion built from algorithmic rhythm. Unique visual identities gave each film distinction while retaining aesthetic cohesion across the suite. The series worked as a whole, but shifted meaningfully within each chapter, like AlixPartners itself. One firm, many domains of expertise.
Cinema4D became our construction site
To build this world, we turned to Cinema4D – a tool engineered for architectural fidelity, repurposed here to map data onto dimensions. Its native clarity, realism and structure allowed us to work in space with weight, time and tension. Within it, we sculpted flows of logic. Constructed interactive terrains. Crafted systems that responded to pressure, scale and transformation.
The result: hyperreal animation. Not fantasy, but visual logic. We rendered performance into four-dimensional environments, where actions drove outcomes, systems revealed structure and complexity resolved into simplicity. The work became a metaphor – every animation a mirror to the way AlixPartners operates: quickly, cleanly, decisively.

This suite of films lives far beyond the dashboard. Built for versatility, the visual system now acts as a branded layer across client engagements, consultant onboarding, and training.
