Business student Nicole Lui shares why Within International is an ideal fit for her first marketing internship.

I immediately clicked with Within International during my internship search.
Born and raised in the bustling metropolis of Hong Kong, I quickly realised that I wanted to broaden my horizons and experience different people and diverse cultures. My new internship with Within International in Hong Kong coincides with embarking on a new chapter in my education and wider academic learning.
As a student I have enrolled in the World Bachelor in Business program, which gives me the opportunity to study across three countries at three different institutions including the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and finally at Bocconi University in Milan. Although I’m only in my first year, I have already learned so much about doing business in various parts of the world from classes I’ve taken, from my peers and extra-curricular participation in my marketing class. Within International looks like a great fit for my background. With its strong global presence in Asia, Europe, and North America, as well as collaboration with clients all over the world, I believe it will serve as a powerful window showing me what marketing and communications across borders look like. Despite it being my first formal internship, my past experience includes the position of Publicity Director of my high school’s Student Union and Marketing Assistant at a start-up firm. Accepting the offer to participate in Within International’s internship programme, I look forward to learning more about media relations, brands and rebranding, and to taking part in the development of immersive virtual products like Enter Agora.
