1850 to 2018
Child & Child traces its origins to 1850 when Henry Bailey set up business at 52 Sloane Street. Having created a new brand look and feel for Child & Child, we were commissioned to redesign and create a new website which communicated both the historical context and the fresh face of the business. Child & Child are growing at an incredible rate, both in terms of staff and services. For this reason, we needed to design and build a site that can scale up in line with their success.
Led by our senior designer, the digital team started by looking at the visual references the new brand created – namely high-end photography around Knightsbridge. We then combined this visual style with the complexity of the site, ensuring it could translate across all future web requirements. More complex still was building a content management system which was designed to make the user experience seamless when looking for a service, practice, person or seniority. Our client wanted visitors to be able to get the information as quickly as possible, so our web developer had to create a bespoke Ajax search function that could identify and cross-reference all of these variables.
Our digital offer has seen us deliver live streaming, app design and build, intranet redesign and implementation, and secure portal creation and construction.
Once the website goes live, it will complete our full set of services. We have previously undertaken consultancy, brand redesign, film & animation, reputational marketing and advertising, as well as pitch materials.
